July 29- July 31, 2020 United for Hope hosted its annual follow-up Back-to-School Mission to Jamaica. With a Team of 30 Volunteers we impacted over 900 people within 3 Days. We conducted Day Clinics at the Mennonite Church & Retreat Health Center in St. Mary, the second day we were at Epworth Baptist Church & then Linton Park All Age School the 3rd day.
Our services included: Doctor Exams & Counseling, Treatments & Diagnosis, Cancer & Health Screenings, Dental & Vision. We donated Medications, Medical Supples & Eyeglasses and also donate over 1000 Back Packs & School Supplies. This 2019 Mission Trip has made an added mark to our Mission experiences. This year our hardworking Volunteers got the chance to discover & enjoy a little of the Island, in between work, by visiting the birthplace of the famous reggae singer, the legendary Mr. Bob Marley. Mission 2019 was in itself another memorable & rewarding experience.
