Mission 2017
With a Group of 50 Volunteers we impacted over 3200 adults and children during the week of July 24-28, 2017 in Jamaica, through the services of Dental, Vision, Doctor Consults, Counseling and Medication disbursements.
The Rotary Club of Ocho Rios East, Hon Richard Creary Mayor of St. Mary & Councillor Krystal Lee of Retreat Constituency, St. Mary were our Mission hosts.

Our Team of Medical Professionals included Dr. Dwayne Hall CMO of Cornwall Regional Hosp. Mobay, Dr. Peter Soltau of the University of the West Indies Mona, Kingston & Dr. Paulette Smalling of Florida served as our Mission Doctors along with Dr. John Baugh Ocho Rios Dentist. Robin Head Registered Pharmacist of Houston and 4 Registered Nurses from Houston: Melinda, Paul, Laundia & Maria. Dental Hygienists included Renee Gordon of Las Vegas & Fiona of St. Mary, Dental Nurses: Blossom Thomas & Mrs. Christie of Jamaica, Mrs. Marjorie Palmer & Mr. Steve Allen Opticians from Broadbent Vision Ocho Rios & our wonderful support team of Volunteers who are always helping make a difference. We served the communities of Epworth, Linton Park, Blackstoneage & the Ocho Rios Methodist Church, all in St. Ann parish. We also served residents of St. Mary at at Retreat Health Center in Content Retreat, St. Mary. It was a wonderful experience with the most dedicated group of volunteers that served thousands of grateful & satisfied individuals in the communities. Mission 2017 was successful, rewarding, benefiting and another memorable accomplishment.
